Snuggled peacefully in a narrow valley along the lower end of the Santa Clara Creek is a small city, resting like an oasis in the desert and known as Santa Clara, "The Jewel of Utah's Dixie".
Santa Clara is located in the extreme southwest corner of the state south by the river and south hills and on the north by a lava bed, red hills and the mountains. This makes a very picturesque setting.
The city boasts the well-preserved Jacob Hamblin home, post office, 3 gas stations, a carwash, florist shop, fruit stand and antique gift shop, and a town square that has a tire shop, pizza shop, beauty salon, bank, and insurance agency. Currently there are about 1500 homes in the city and growth is rapid. Santa Clara residents are proud of their little city and take pride in keeping it looking neat and clean.
